Roland Service

Are you still undecided about purchasing an extended service contract through TyrrellTech Inc.? At TyrrellTech we have extensive experience in dealing with people who have, and have not, decided to put their Roland printer under a service contract. Here are a few important details to consider.
Your Investment

Your Roland printer is probably one of your most important, if not THE most important piece of machinery keeping your company running. When your printer is down, you’re not making money and you are getting backed up by the minute. In fact, much time is wasted explaining to people why their jobs will be late and turning down jobs because you are uncertain of when you will be able to complete them.

With a service contract, you have no unexpected fees throughout the contract life. This means that you know your financial situation. Coming up with 1-2 thousand dollars on the spot can be difficult or seemingly impossible. Planning for maintenance and repairs is a necessity, though.  The minimum you will pay for a service call is $295.00. This is if the repair takes an hour or less and no parts are needed. In reality, this just doesn’t happen. The usual repair cost for one print head, parts, travel and labor, is around $1,000 or more. Some service calls have had price tags reaching the $3,000 range.

Our Commitment

Customers with warranties take precedence over those who do not have warranties. Our obligations are to those who have a contract with us. These customers have confidence that they can call in with a problem and have a technician there, most of the time, that day or the next. Our customers that have contracts also receive two preventative maintenance calls for that year. We clean and calibrate your printer for optimum performance and lower the chance for down time.  We typically catch small problems that could potentially become larger, debilitating problems and correct them before the customer has to suffer any down time at all.
